Artist may now book a studio session or artist consultation via webcam, instant messenger, by phone, and in person. As a result of revamping our studio and services, recording is not available at Jay Colbert Concoctions to the general public; production is now our specialization and focus for the future! Cleveland, Ohio Thursday November 10, 2011. The bad news first; the release date for Jay Colbert’s “When 2 Worlds Collide” has been pushed back to late spring, early summer of 2012! The double digital album was originally scheduled to be available 11-11-11, but due to Jay Colbert’s busy schedule of work & school, the album was placed on the back burner. The good news; Jay Colbert will graduate with an Associates degree in Business on December 17, 2011 from Indiana Wesleyan University, and will be on a 3 month hiatus in the studio all winter. This means that Jay will have the opportunity to produce additional new music for his album & mix tape, open the studio to other artists in need of studio time, as well as produce the solo E.P. of Jaden Colbert during this time. There are also plans in the works to update www.jaycolbert.com, and recruit a new team of artists and producers to start a new joint venture. More updates will follow in the months to come!

Cleveland, Ohio Tuesday January 18, 2011. There are ginormous things in store for 2011! First of all, Jay Colbert aka Mouthpiece & his alter ego Jizzy Gully will be releasing a double digital album on 11-11-11 entitled “When 2 Worlds Collide: Good vs. Evil.” This album will feature over 30 songs showcasing two genres of music in a battle over true supremacy; Gospel Rap vs. Gangster Rap for the title of most influential media in new the millennium! Both of these art forms have proven to impact the lives of millions of fans around the world! Jay has produced both types of styles for many years, and is possibly considering making this album his last venture, so why not go out with a BANG! The marketing campaign for this album will kick off in late summer, and a mix tape with the infamous DJ Gweb of Cypha Inc. is in the works as well! Contact Randi Colbert for information on collaborations, all tracks must be submitted by February 28, 2011 and completed by March 31, 2011 to be featured on this project.
The next big thing to occur later this year will be the debut of Jaden Colbert and her first project “Rock Star” featuring Julian Colbert! The two are working hard to put together their first single and few hot tracks, which should be available by fall. Also, Randi L. Colbert aka “Randizzle” may be singing again! She is already featured on two songs on Jay’s upcoming album, and is contemplating hitting the studio and stage in the near future.
Last but not least, www.jaycolbert.com will be updated with no content in the near future, and Jay Colbert Concoctions LLC will be filling for a name change in 2011. The company is considering a new name with the new additions of Jaden & Julian entering the music industry, thus making the company a family business. Randi and Jay currently own and operate Jay Colbert Concoctions LLC, which means now even the kids will be little entrepreneurs.
